Wedding-Related Transportation Cost
Guests will be required to pay a one-time transportation cost of $70.00 per person to cover round trip transfers to and from the Welcome Reception, Wedding on the Beach, Wedding Reception, Private Charter, and Shirley Heights Sunset BBQ.

Optional Private Round-trip Transfer to/from ANU (Airport): $20.80 cost per person
Optional transportation services are being provided by Nexus Tours, the preferred hotel transportation tour operator. Preferred rates have been pre-negotiated for all our travel needs while in Antigua & Barbuda. This cost does not include the transportation costs associated with the wedding-related activities.
• You will be met with a welcome banner displaying the group name, Thomas Wedding at the baggage claim departure area.
• All guests traveling on your fight will be transported to the resort at the same time.
• You will be provide a list of all guests scheduled to arrive on your individual flight for your convenience.
• Flight Departure Information: Details regarding resort departure times will be provided at least 30 days prior to our scheduled trip.
You of course have the option to book your transfer independent of Nexus. Taxis and other private services are available upon arrival. From the research that I have done, the average cost to travel to/fro the Resort average $80-120 per person round-trip for private service. It is my understanding that the taxis do have a flat rate mandated by the city. However, I am not familiar with what the actual rates are.
Optional VIP Fast Track Service: Expedite Your Way In/Out of Customs
VCBIA offers an exclusive meet and greet service for guests who wish to be fast tracked through airport required services. Customers will receive full escort through airport related formalities as well as priority transfer through the airport arrival concourse to their ground transportation service. To qualify for this service, we require passengers to make bookings at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
The following is a summary of the VIP Fast Track Process. I have been told that if there are not many flights arriving at the same time, this service may not be as beneficial. Please see the process below. VIP Fast track is being offered through Nexus Tours.

Executive Lounge Services at V.C BIRD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Relax in the exquisite haven of the VCBIA Executive Lounge as you prepare for the next stage of your journey! Customers will have an option to enjoy the visually stimulating, lush landscape and the panoramic view of our stunning turquoise waters while basking in the sunshine and inhaling the fresh oceanic breeze on our outer deck. In 2016, the Lounge captured the Virgin Atlantic Lounge Leaders Bronze Award from a total of 18 airports, surpassed only by Grenada and Dubai.I personally visited this lounge back in July. I personally enjoyed it!
